what to expect

Session Duration: Each session lasts 1 hour. A minimum of one session per week is recommended to ensure consistent progress in developing your skills, as handstands and calisthenics require time, repetition, and practice - but it's loads of fun! Book a free consultation to discuss your individual requirements and goals.

Warm-Up: Every session (whether online or in-person) begins with a focus on warming up the wrists and other areas of the body to prepare for the demands of handstands and calisthenics.

Skill Development: Depending on your current skill level and goals, we’ll dedicate at least 40 minutes of each session to practicing and refining specific skills.

Practice Program: You'll receive a personalised program summarizing what was covered in the session, allowing you to practice and prepare for your next session at your own pace.
focused sessions
Based on your individual goals, here are some examples of what you may experience during our 1:1 sessions. Each session will be specifically tailored to your needs, helping you achieve your handstand, calisthenics, or general fitness goals.​
Skill Session
​We’ll begin with relevant mobility and prep exercises leading towards our first skill and follow up with accessories to compliment your foundations.
To finish we’ll work on core strength foundations and multidirectional movement.​
CONDITIONING
Starting with a general warm up before heading into high tempo rounds organised by pattern oriented workout structures.

We’ll then add to your already improving core strength and stretch off. ​​

hANDSTANDS
​Depending on your level, we’ll focus a lot off entries as the more direct route to either get you up on your hands and learning to create balance.
We’ll also pay lots of attention to the absolute foundations of the handstand.

mobility
We will lead by loosening off the body and then start to combine a mix of active with passive stretches.
Then we'll use exercises to build strength in extensive ranges of movement. These sessions will be more flow oriented.​
ONLINE/IN-PERSON/hybrid
Ready to start your journey with handstands, calisthenics, or fitness training? If you’re in Manchester, we can work together in person or in a hybrid setup. For those further afield, online sessions are a great way to train with flexibility and focus wherever you are.
Whatever the format, I’ll help you progress at your own pace.
